All scales are launched in Kuberay V1.3.0 to greatly improve the possibility and reliability of Kubernets’ rays to solve the main tasks of scalp and usefulness.
All scales have announced the launch of Kuberay V1.3.0, the main update of open source solutions to distribute Ray to Kubernetes. The update, released in Ray Summit 2024, solves the important issue of observation, reliability and usefulness, according to all scales.
Improved observation potential
Kuberay v1.3.0 introduces significant developments of possibility of observation with the RayCluster condition API that has been in beta from alpha. Through this API, the user will effectively monitor the state of the RayCluster Custom Resources to help quickly identify and solve the problem. This update includes an improvement in the Rayservice controller and improves the capacity of processing edge cases and maintaining the service during the upgrade.
Improved reliability
The introduction of failure recovery with Rayjob’s network has improved reliability. This allows long -term execution to endure temporary network interruption without failing. Kuberay v1.3.0 also integrates the Ray Autoscayaler V2 in Alpha to provide better stability and observation. This component is expected to be a basic function in future releases.
Useful upgrade
Useful improvements include beta releases of Ray KubectL plug -in, which simplifies the interaction with Kubernetes Ray through an intuitive command set. The plugin simplifies user experience by supporting tasks such as log download, cluster creation and task submission.
Community and future development
Kuberay Community has played an important role in this development and provided more than 300 commitness from 35 contributors. All scales are actively working with the community to improve this development, and we expect to participate in feedback through the GitHub page, looking forward to the upcoming Kuberay V1.4.
