The SUI approach to the maximum extractable value (MEV) focuses on the protection of transactions and fair competition through priority gas auctions and consensus amplification.
The concept of MAXMUM EXTRACTABLE VALUE (MEV) attracted considerable attention in the blockchain industry, and the SUI network was intentional to solve complexity. According to Mysten Labs, this network uses a variety of mechanisms to optimize transaction order, improve protection, and ensure fair competition.
The principle of guiding MEV to SUI
The SUI strategy for MEV management includes some major principles. The network prioritizes user transaction protection over the extracted potential value, emphasizing smaller slides and discouraging auctions other than protocols that can lead to waiting time. In order for SUI to promote priority gas auction (PGA), SUI is also important to prevent spam that maintains fairness and causes system non -efficiency. It is also a priority to distribute rewards to ecosystem participants, including validation testors, stakes and users.
Transaction submission mechanism
Submission of transactions for SUI is guided by mechanisms such as Priority Gas Auction (PGA) and consensus amplification. The PGA redistributes the gas rates between the participants, effectively allocating resources and preventing spam. The transaction is treated as a block ordered by the consensus, and the merchant competes for priority orders through a gas auction.
The two main mechanisms are summarized in the SIP-19, submit a transaction within the soft bundle and guide you to two major mechanisms that set the priority through the consensus amplification as described in the SIP-45. This approach aims to decrease the effects of submitting jits and promote system efficiency.
Distribution of transaction information
The approach to SUI, which distributes transaction information, includes both chain and off chain methods. Onchain and networks plan to implement a system for direct streaming of the consensus block so that the entire node can receive a specification for transactions that can be directly subscribed and traded. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce radio waves.
The off chain Sui supports auctions for submitting Soft Bundles and includes a contract between applications such as Shio and auction systems. This auction protects user transactions from sandwich attacks using technologies such as bait trading and any delay.
User transaction protection
It is important to protect user transactions from leaders, sandwiches and delays in SUI. The network usually uses external quorum driving run by the entire node to allow transactions to be processed in the intended order. This method provides natural protection for the entire execution and maintains trust between users.
SUI is also exploring MySticeti Fast Path, a protocol that can improve system efficiency but can cause potential risk. However, in this setting, the decision -making characteristics of the submitted validation tests promote responsibility to alleviate concerns.
MEV’s future for SUI
SUI’s MEV environment has several innovations in the horizon for evolution. Current mechanisms, such as PGA and consensus amplification, form a network, but upcoming developments such as Time-Lock encryption and MySticeti Fast Path promise to execute trading and security. As such development develops, the SUI aims to foster more dynamic and transparent ecosystems.
