Web3 game publisher MON Protocol today announced that its MON token will soon be listed on major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Bybit, Backpack Exchange, BingX, Bitget, Gate.io, HTX, and MEXC.
This announcement marks a significant milestone for the protocol, promising improved accessibility and visibility for its tokens. Each exchange will independently detail the specific mechanisms and timeline for future token launches.
The MON token serves as the central ecosystem token of the MON protocol.
The MON protocol has achieved a significant following of over 1 million web3-savvy gamers and enthusiasts. This community-driven model has not only garnered a loyal user base, but has also established the MON Protocol as a chain-agnostic publisher.
We have successfully released a variety of web3 games across multiple platforms, including Base, Immutable, and Mantle.
Since its founding in February 2024, famous gaming chains such as Aptos, Immutable, and Solana have approved the MON protocol.
Pixelmon, the first IP to be published via the MON protocol, integrates MON tokens across an expanding range of games.
The IP’s first game, PixelPals, attracted nearly 500,000 players in just two months after launch. Going forward, Protocol plans to release the much-awaited real-time monster battle game Warriors of Nova Thera and the massive RPG Hunting Grounds in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
Both games are expected to further validate and strengthen the utility and reach of MON tokens within the gaming community.
The MON Protocol’s impact extends beyond its own game development with over 60 different partners connected to the ecosystem. These partners range from other web3 games and gaming studios to the wider ecosystem and trading platforms.
Token holders who choose to stake their MON tokens can expect rewards issued by various partners as each partner launches. This not only improves the utility of the token, but also solidifies its value proposition to both current and future stakeholders.
“MON being listed on multiple major exchanges simultaneously is an indicator that those exchanges have as much confidence in the project and community as we do,” said Giulio Xiloyannis, co-founder of the MON Protocol and CEO of Pixelmon.
“We saw tremendous excitement in the community during the MON Protocol community presale, which reached quota in just 8 minutes. We expect a similar level of enthusiasm when we see the token listings next week,” Xiloyannis added.
MON tokens are scheduled to begin trading on listed exchanges on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM (UTC).
