According to the EMEA source, the personal experience of Julian isla’s son Sergio’s health problem was inspired to advocate to better understand and treat these frequently.
AI as an innovation tool for health care
Julian isla, a prominent advocate for rare diseases in Spain, recognized the potential of computing in solving the complexity of diagnosing such a condition. The enormous amount of data and symptom analysis required for diagnosing rare diseases has made AI a suitable candidate for this work. ISLA explained that AI was a ‘promoter’ in the mention of ‘Odyssey of Diagnosis’.
Foundation 29 and chance connection
In 2017, his son co -founded Foundation 29, a non -profit organization that is dedicated to applying AI to medical innovation. His journey caused a pivotal change when he was connected to the Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella in the Microsoft event.
