NEAR tokens have nearly doubled in a week ahead of the Nvidia (NVDA) AI conference.

The company started in 2017 as NEAR.AI, an AI company that has nothing to do with blockchain. The team began building the NEAR protocol in 2018 and the mainnet was launched in 2020. Before starting Near, Polosukhin worked at Google Research developing models and tools for AI.
