Northpeak Grow is a scam cryptocurrency trading and investment platform that promises big profits but is actually a fake site.
This was set up as part of a scam where would-be cryptocurrency investors were tricked into signing up and losing their cash by someone they met online.
Northpeak Grow operates as a DApp connected to a cryptocurrency wallet and uses its permissions to control users’ funds and drain the wallet.
The person who reported this scam Cryptocurrency Advisor Someone I had been talking to for a few months mentioned the site and said that it claimed you could make big profits without risk.
All investments, especially cryptocurrencies, involve risk. Anyone who claims otherwise is dishonest and is likely engaging in fraud.
Northpeak Grow Platform Red Flags
There are many problems with both platforms and DApps. This means you should avoid interacting with the platform entirely.
These include:
- It’s a brand new domain name.
- No social media profiles.
- The grammar and website design are poor.
- DApp has too many permissions.
- There is no explanation as to how the benefits are achieved.
- No licensing or regulatory information available.
- There is no evidence of the company address.
Can I get my money back from Northpeak Grow scam?
It is very difficult to track down scams like this and it is likely that the platform will be shut down in the near future.
However, you should gather as much information as possible about this and report it to the police.
