NVIDIA, Alphabet and Google focus on robotics, drug discovery and energy grids, and collaborate to develop AI by using NVIDIA’s platform and Google’s cloud infrastructure.
Cooperation efforts to develop AI development
NVIDIA, Alphabet and Google have announced strategic collaboration aimed at developing artificial intelligence (AI) technology and applications in various industries. According to the NVIDIA NEWSROOM, this partnership will democratize access to AI tools, accelerate the development of physical AI, and change sectors such as medical, manufacturing and energy.
Innovation of robotics and drug discovery
This collaboration uses AI and simulations to improve robot functions, re -imagine drug discovery processes, and optimize energy grids. Google Deepmind, ISOMORPHIC Labs, Intrinsic and X’s MOONSHOT TAPESTRY teams are NVIDIA GTC Global AI Conference will showcase collaboration milestones.
Google Cloud, a part of Alphabet, will use the GB300 NVL72 rack scale solution and RTX Pro ™ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU for the first time to improve research and production.
Development of AI infrastructure and security
NVIDIA adopts Synthid, a watermarking technology developed by Google Deepmind, to identify AI production content to protect intellectual property. This initiative aims to build confidence in generating AI through content transparency. In addition, NVIDIA and Google Deepmind optimizes the Google’s GEMMA model to run efficiently in the NVIDIA GPU to indicate an important step of open innovation.
Robot engineering and energy grid improvement
Intrinsic, an alphabet company, focuses on the development of adaptive AI for robotics, allowing manufacturers to access more easily. In cooperation with NVIDIA, we aim to simplify the developer workflow and use the basic model to improve robot adaptability. At the same time, NVIDIA and Google Deepmind are working with the open source physical engine, Newton’s Disney Research, to improve the robot engineering machine learning workload.
In the energy sector, Tapestry, a project of X, focuses on expanding the grid capacity to work with NVIDIA to improve electrical grid simulation, integrate new energy sources, and meet increasing demand. This effort aims to optimize the energy infrastructure for sustainability.
Future prospects and AI infrastructure
Google Cloud provides customers with the latest NVIDIA Blackwell GPU to provide performance improvements to advanced AI infrastructure. This includes the GB300 NVL72 and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition, which has improved significant performance compared to the previous model.
Partnerships between Google Cloud and NVIDIA optimize open source frameworks such as JAX and MAXTEXT to efficiently run on the NVIDIA GPUS, further improving AI features throughout the industry.
