NVIDIA has an open source cupanier 25.03 and improves accessibility with PIP installation and default HDF5 support, encouraging transparency and collaboration in multiple GPU computing.





NVIDIA has announced that the Cupynumeric 25.03 library is now completely open source and an important milestone for development. According to NVIDIA, this update introduces powerful new features, including PIP installation support and default HDF5 IO.

All open source conversion

Through this latest release, NVIDIA has opened the full stack of CuPynumeric, including a leisure framework and runtime layer that supplies power in accordance with the Apache 2 license. This transition emphasizes NVIDIA’s promise to promote transparency, reproduction and cooperation of the development community. Open source characteristics allow contributors to explore, thank and improve the system without obstacles.

PIP installation support

Cupynumeric, which can only be installed only through CODA, is now installed using PIP to greatly simplify the settings process. This improvement makes it easier to integrate into workflow, virtual environment and CI pipeline. PYPI’s Cupynumeric Package supports both single node multi -GPUs and multi -GPU multi -node clusters with multi -nodes and multi -ranking capabilities.

Basic HDF5 IO Support

Another notable feature of Cupynumeric 25.03 is the basic support for HDF5 through GPU storage, which optimizes the processing of large data sets. This feature is important for efficient IO operations, high -performance computing and data -intensive applications. Now, users can manage complex data structures with improved performance and portability.

Installation and use

The installation process has been simplified to include the Simple PIP command. pip install nvidia-cupynumeric. This update bundles all the main dependencies except MPI, otherwise it can be easily solved through PYPI. NVIDIA offers detailed guidelines for the CuPynumeric settings and execution in the Slurm cluster, emphasizing the ease of use in multi -node and multi -ranking environments.
