According to the NVIDIA blog, NVIDIA is once again pushing the boundaries of gaming technology at Gamescom 2024, enabling gamers to experience incredibly immersive gameplay with improved performance and visual fidelity.
This year’s announcements include the introduction of NVIDIA ACE, a suite of technologies that create AI-based game characters, and the celebration of 600 RTX games and applications, including 20 new RTX titles. NVIDIA also announced that it is working with MediaTek to extend its G-SYNC display technology to more gamers.
NVIDIA ACE: AI-driven game character development
NVIDIA’s announcement was led by NVIDIA ACE, a revolutionary suite of technologies that uses generative AI to bring digital humans to life. The first game to showcase ACE and its digital human technology was Amazing Seasun Games’ Mecha BreakFast-paced mecha combat game. The ACE family also includes NVIDIA’s first on-device miniature language model, Nemotron-4 4B Instruct, which enhances game character dialogue and role-playing capabilities.
Celebrating 600 RTX Games and Apps with 20 New RTX Titles
NVIDIA RTX is revolutionizing gaming with ray tracing, DLSS, and AI-powered technologies. This milestone means there are now 600 RTX-enhanced games and applications available, with 20 new titles announced. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Dune: Awakeningand Dragon Age: Valeguard. As expected Black Myth: Wukong Launching today, it delivers the ultimate RTX experience with full ray tracing and DLSS 3.
Half-Life 2: RTX Remix Project Unveils Remastered Nova Prospekt
Half-Life 2 RTX: RTX Remix Project Orbifold Studios is a community-driven remaster of Valve’s classic games. Orbifold Studios has revealed a remastered version of the iconic Nova Prospekt level, featuring full ray tracing, DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction, and Reflex. The trailer also shows off the remastered weapons, characters, and environments, taking advantage of the latest PC features to enhance their realism.
NVIDIA and MediaTek Bring G-SYNC Display Technology to More Gamers
NVIDIA and MediaTek are working together to make advanced gaming display technology more accessible. The partnership will integrate NVIDIA G-SYNC technology into popular scalers, delivering feature-rich, affordable G-SYNC monitors. The highlight of this collaboration is G-SYNC Pulsar, a new technology that delivers improved motion clarity and a smooth, tear-free variable refresh rate experience. G-SYNC Pulsar will debut in new monitors from ASUS, Acer, and AOC.
GeForce NOW Raises the Bar for Cloud Gaming
GeForce NOW continues to improve cloud gaming by adding top-tier PC games and new features. For Gamescom, GeForce NOW is introducing: Black Myth: Wukong And for the demo Final Fantasy XVI. Recent updates include Xbox auto-login, mod support, new data centers in Japan and Poland, and a library of 2,000 cloud games.
Star Wars Outlaws: GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle
NVIDIA has partnered with Ubisoft, Massive Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games to Star Wars Outlaws GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle. This bundle will give gamers the first open world experience. Star Wars The game features enhanced NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, ray tracing, and Reflex technology. The game is also available on GeForce NOW.
