Oracle and Palantir have begun a collaboration to enhance their cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. According to oracle.com, Palantir’s Foundry Platform and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) are now certified on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and are generally available across all of Oracle’s distributed cloud deployment options.

Enhanced AI and cloud capabilities

By integrating Palantir’s AI and decision acceleration platform with Oracle’s distributed cloud, AI infrastructure, and sovereign AI capabilities, we aim to accelerate AI initiatives for enterprises and governments. This certification ensures that Palantir’s platform can leverage Oracle’s powerful cloud infrastructure to deliver enhanced performance, efficiency, and security.

“Together with Oracle, we are helping our global customers leverage the latest innovations in cloud computing and AI while meeting regulatory, performance, and security requirements,” said Josh Harris, Palantir executive, of the partnership.

Global availability and support

Palantir’s Foundry and AIP are certified by OCI and available across a range of OCI offerings, including public cloud regions, OCI Dedicated Regions, Oracle Alloy, Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud, Oracle Government Cloud, Oracle Roving Edge, and Oracle’s air-gapped regions for defense and intelligence customers. This broad availability allows customers to deploy these platforms in the way that best suits their operational and regulatory requirements.

Oracle Vice President Rand Waldron highlighted the benefits of this collaboration, saying, “Oracle’s powerful and flexible cloud infrastructure, combined with Palantir’s decision acceleration platform, will help customers rapidly scale AI capabilities across their operations, enabling them to get maximum value from their data while meeting sovereignty and security standards.”

Oracle’s Unique Position in the Market

Oracle is the only hyperscaler that can deliver AI and a comprehensive suite of over 100 cloud services across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments worldwide. OCI’s Sovereign Cloud offerings enable customers to leverage the full power of cloud and AI technologies while meeting stringent regulatory, security, and performance requirements.

This collaboration between Oracle and Palantir is expected to have a major impact on how businesses and governments utilize AI and cloud computing, driving innovation and operational efficiency across a wide range of sectors.
