Peer – Can’t get inbound connection from my node.

So I tried to get an inbound connection on my node, but without success.

I have UmbrelOS 1.1 installed on my RPi5. The Bitcoin Node app is already set up to accept incoming connections. I also went to the router and added an exception for DHCP on the internal network to the RPi5’s MAC and forwarded both the IPv4 and IPv6 TCP 8333 ports to the static RPi5 IP. I also made sure there was no firewall on the RPi5’s Umbrel. There wasn’t even a UFW or anything like that. I restarted both the node and the router.

The problem is that even after doing all of this, when I check bitnodes.io, my IP still says the port is unreachable.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the external IPv4 address that my router shows as mine is different from the address published on whatismyip.com. I was wondering if this was some kind of CGNAT issue. If so, what should I do to fix it?

thank you.
