Phantom, a leading wallet with over 7 million monthly active users, chose Sui’s “high-performance” blockchain as its next integration.
The Sui Foundation today announced that Phantom Wallet, the leading non-custodial multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet, is now integrated with the Sui Network.
With 7 million monthly active users, Phantom has the largest on-chain wallet user base in the web3 industry. With a total of over 560 million on-chain transactions annually to date and key features such as staking, in-app token swaps, NFT storage, multi-chain support, and Ledger hardware wallet integration, Phantom represents a significant milestone for the Sui Network. It is the first blockchain other than Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum to be supported by the wallet. Sui is also the first blockchain built on the Move language, supported by Phantom.
The Sui Network integration is also an important step toward improving Phantom Wallet’s interoperability and demonstrates how wallet providers and dApp builders are investing in a multi-chain future rather than focusing solely on one ecosystem.
“The integration of Phantom Wallet with Sui marks a huge leap forward for the Sui ecosystem. The Sui community now has access to the best wallet experience with many of the features they have been asking for,” said Jameel Khalfan, Global Head of Ecosystem. Sui Foundation. “Phantom Wallet is selective in the chains it supports and we are proud to now be included in this notable group.”
Phantom’s integration provides Sui users with a reliable and secure wallet solution available as browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave, as well as mobile apps for iOS and Android.
“We’re excited to bring Sui support to the millions of Phantom users,” said Brandon Millman, CEO of Phantom. “Sui’s thoughtful approach to scalability and developer-centric solutions aligns with our commitment to high-performance blockchains. We look forward to building together and supporting their growth.”
