Ledger and MoonPay are launching a number of digital asset-focused services for their customers as they pour their money into hard wallet companies.
Ledger Live will offer instant processing for cryptocurrency purchases through Moonpay and add support for token swaps from the payment service provider, the companies said in a statement on Monday. As part of the collaboration, Ledger Academy will launch new self-paced cryptocurrency trading tutorials and other learning resources for users, including content focused on the MoonPay service.
“We are continuously working to provide Ledger users with better usability and access to cryptocurrencies while maintaining industry-leading hardware security,” Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier said in a statement Monday.
The Ledger x MoonPay Nano The limited edition purple hard wallet comes with a $25 cryptocurrency voucher from MoonPay. It will also soon include a one-year subscription to Ledger Recover, an ID-based key recovery service for hard wallet owners, according to the company.
This is the latest collaboration between Ledger and MoonPay. In 2021, the two companies partnered to launch a Moonpay-enabled cryptocurrency purchasing option on Ledger Live.
