Revolving Games (RG), a pioneering publisher of decentralized games and digital ownership, has announced a strategic partnership with Animoca Brands. According to Animoca Brands, the partnership aims to create a scalable, gamer-controlled economy leveraging Web3 technologies.
Innovative Web3 gaming ecosystem
Through this collaboration, Revolving Games will build a decentralized infrastructure that includes the RCADE Chain, Node Network, and $RCADE tokens. The framework aims to support a diverse gaming ecosystem across a variety of genres, expanding both internal and external AAA titles over the next 36 months. The project has received over $37 million in venture funding from notable investors such as Pantera Capital, Polygon, and Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser.
Upcoming Flagship Game and Node Sales
Phoenix Flight, the next mobile game in the Skyborne franchise, is scheduled to enter early access in Q4. Phoenix Flight will be the first flagship game to introduce RG’s scalable gaming ecosystem built on the RCADE Foundation’s Node Network to the mainstream audience. Revolving Games will also be launching its first Node Sale on August 15, 2024. Anyone holding a Nexus Node and RG Byte NFTs will be able to stake their NFTs to claim the Node on the same day.
Industry expertise and future plans
Saad Zaeem, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Revolving Games, highlighted the benefits of being an early adopter of blockchain, noting that working with Animoca Brands provides invaluable experience in the Web3 space. Yat Siu, Co-Founder and Chairman of Animoca Brands, highlighted Revolving Games’ proven track record of designing and launching games that captivate audiences. This partnership aims to leverage Animoca Brands’ extensive expertise and resources to bring mainstream audiences to Web3 games.
Revolving Games has built two international game studios and a team of over 150 professionals, generating over $3 billion in mobile game revenue. The company plans to further expand its decentralized game infrastructure by releasing four internal games and 10 additional AAA titles in the next three years.
Community Driven Economy
Amar Zaim, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Revolving Games, described the circular gaming ecosystem as one that attracts new users through compelling IP and gameplay while increasing demand for decentralized services provided by node operators. The interoperable RCADE token allows users to move in-game assets between games, benefiting both gamers and developers.
Revolving Games aims to build a community-driven, decentralized infrastructure that supports a wide range of gaming experiences. The initiative is expected to attract both crypto and non-crypto users, allowing them to own digital assets accumulated through time and technology investment.
