NVIDIA has a partner relationship with Saudi Arabia, developing AI factories, strengthening the digital infrastructure of the kingdom, and consistent with Vision 2030 for economic diversification.
As a significant movement to develop technical skills, the Saudi Arabian Kingdom began a strategic partnership with NVIDIA, a major player in artificial intelligence (AI) and computing. According to NVIDIA NEWSROOM, collaboration aims to switch to Saudi Arabia into a global leader of AI, cloud computing, digital twins and robotics.
Enhancement of AI function
Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, planned to build a sovereign AI infrastructure during the weekly visit to US President Donald Trump and Mohammed Bin Salman. This infrastructure will use NVIDIA’s expertise to place Saudi Arabia among the world’s super sniper AI leaders.
Huang said, “AI is an essential infrastructure for all countries. This initiative is consistent with the vision of the kingdom that wants to use high -end digital infrastructure.
Main initiative and investment
This partnership will invest in AI factories with an expected capacity of up to 500 megawatts using NVIDIA’s advanced GPUs. The initial stage includes 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI SuperComputer. In addition, deployment of NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud facilitates simulation and testing of AI solutions through Digital Twins.
NVIDIA plans to educate thousands of developers in accelerated computing and AI to improve the computing ecosystem. Saudi Data & Ai Authority (SDAIA) works with NVIDIA to assign up to 5,000 Blackwell GPUs to support Smart City solutions and educate scientists and engineers in AI model development.
Support Vision 2030
These initiatives are essential for Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify economic diversification and digital leadership. Dr. Abdullah Bin Sharaf Alghamdi, chairman of SDAIA, emphasized the partnership in developing the data and AI functions of the kingdom by contributing to the knowledge -based society and the digital economy.
