Saudi Arabia joins BIS’ CBDC project mBridge as an official participant

In addition to mBridge’s six formal participants, 27 other official institutions have signed on as observers to the project, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and central banks from countries including Norway, South Korea and Turkey.
