According to data tracked by The Block, Google searches for the term ‘solana’ increased 250% from early October to early December.
It is expressed on a scale from 0 to 100, with 100 representing the highest level for 2020. Searches for ‘solana’ increased from 14 just two months ago to 49 in early December.

“The price-performance of this product has been much stronger than other assets that have attracted more attention, and the network’s memecoins have also been gaining popularity recently,” said Rebecca Stevens, Block Research analyst.
The price of Solana rose 224% from October 11 to December 18, according to data from The Block.
Major players in the cryptocurrency industry have also highlighted Solana’s strong performance, with ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood saying Solana is faster and cheaper than Ethereum and is “doing really well.”
Google searches for ‘Bitcoin’ and ‘Ethereum’ also increased between October and December, but at a slower pace.
