Solana’s next hit series of cryptocurrency phones has already been garnering a lot of attention about a year before its launch.
Solana Mobile Chapter 2, the sequel to Solana Mobile Saga, has reached 60,000 pre-orders in three weeks, a Solana spokesperson told The Block.
“The response to Solana Mobile has been incredible,” said Anatoly Yakovenko, Solana co-founder and CEO of Solana Labs. “Since Chapter 2 was released, we’ve received over 60,000 pre-orders and built a real community of dedicated users.”
Solana Mobile announced the sequel to its popular cryptocurrency phone, Solana Mobile Saga, on January 16th. The new version gives users a physical phone with built-in cryptocurrency support software. We offer it at a cheaper price. Individuals can purchase Solana Chapter 2. The wallet will cost $450, and the phone is scheduled to begin shipping in 2025.
First revealed in June 2022, Solana Mobile Saga initially cost $1,000 to purchase before being reduced to $599, The Block previously reported. Saga sold out in the US on December 15, 2023.
