And Wright, portrayed as (generally) calm and articulate in court, certainly won over those in the past (including his benefactor, billionaire online gambling mogul Calvin Ayre). But for many onlookers the case had already been made. By taking his position, Wright simply discredited himself. He has too many inconsistencies, too many coincidences, too many misdirections that are unbelievable.
