The Sui Basecamp 2024 event held in April gave attendees a glimpse into the future of digital asset engagement by introducing Nami Bags, a promotional digital giveaway designed to showcase the potential of Sui technology. According to The Sui Blog, these digital gift bags filled with NFTs and coupons were a hit with attendees and demonstrated how blockchain technology can improve audience engagement at live events.
Nami Baek: A hit at Sui Base Camp
Each attendee at Sui Basecamp received a Nami Bag by creating a new wallet via zkLogin or linking an existing wallet and scanning the QR code on their badge. The bag contained a variety of digital gifts, including a unique SuiFren NFT, Basecamp-themed accessories, and vouchers for use in various project apps. Some items can also be exchanged for actual goods at the event, demonstrating the ‘phygital’ accessory concept.
Enoki platform improves user engagement
Enoki, Misten Labs’ customer participation platform, played a major role in Nami Bag’s success. Enoki’s services, such as zkLogin, facilitated seamless user onboarding, enabling users with no prior cryptography knowledge to participate. By allowing users to log in with their existing Google credentials, Enoki creates wallets in the background, simplifying the experience and broadening the appeal of blockchain technology.
Dynamic and configurable NFTs
Sui’s dynamic NFTs played a key role in making Namibaek a memorable experience. Each SuiFren NFT comes with five accessory NFTs that can be traded or removed individually. This flexibility highlighted the efficiency of the Sui blockchain, as other blockchains would require burning and minting new NFTs for these customizations.
Time capsule NFT and future potential
The Enoki Time Capsule NFT provided an interesting feature, transforming at certain times to reveal unique items, such as shopping at Galeries Lafayette. This feature demonstrated how NFTs can be used for sweepstakes and other time-sensitive engagements to create anticipation and excitement among users.
Expanding Web3 possibilities
Just a year after the launch of the Sui mainnet, the potential of Sui technology is just beginning to be explored. Sui Basecamp’s Nami Bags demonstrated how Enoki’s platform can onboard new users and how dynamic NFTs can open up a variety of applications, from digital coupons to voter voting.
Enoki has proven to be a valuable tool for builders by providing SDKs and APIs that simplify blockchain service integration. This accessibility allows developers to leverage the power of Web3 without requiring extensive blockchain expertise, paving the way for innovative applications across a variety of industries.
The success of Nami Bags at Sui Basecamp demonstrates the growing relevance of NFTs and blockchain technology in enhancing user engagement and creating unique, interactive experiences at events.
