Sunbitit is a scam crypto platform that claims to provide exchange and derivatives services.
However, none of these features are actually available as the platform is set up to act as a front for scammers looking to steal funds from cryptocurrency investors.
At first glance, this platform appears legit, but when you scratch beneath the surface, you will realize that it is a scam.
The name itself is a big giveaway as it was chosen to trick investors into thinking they are on a legitimate ‘Sunbit’ website.
Sunbitit even uses the name Sunbit throughout their website and tab titles, but the URL tells you what’s really going on.
Some problems with Sunbitit are:
- This is a brand new domain name registration.
- There is no information about the company or team.
- It’s clearly a user agreement page scraped from somewhere else.
- Poor quality graphics and content.
- No regulatory or licensing information expected.
- There is no App Store app, but rather a very suspicious direct download APK file.
- As mentioned earlier, these names attempt to imitate legitimate companies.
- We promise easy profits without risk.
- People who are introduced to Sunbitit by new ‘friends’ online.
Can I get my money back from Sunbitit scam?
If you’ve fallen victim to this scam, you’ve likely been asked to convert your cash into cryptocurrency before transferring it to a DApp you’ve connected to through a legitimate cryptocurrency service, such as a platform or software wallet.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to safely get your funds back. However, you should always report what happens to the relevant authorities in your country.
