Tether Operations Limited, a leading company in the digital asset industry, has announced a strategic collaboration with the Africa Blockchain Institute to enhance blockchain education in universities in Côte d’Ivoire. According to tether.io, the initiative aims to provide students with practical skills and a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology.
Educational workshop in Ivory Coast
The Africa Blockchain Institute has hosted training workshops at five universities, including Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Pigier Business School, Université Alassane Ouattara, and Université d’Abobo-Adjamé. The workshops cover a variety of topics, including blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), and practical blockchain applications across a variety of industries. The initiative aims to provide students with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge, enabling them to confidently apply what they have learned in real-world situations.
Ambassador Program for Qualified Participants
Qualified participants in this workshop will serve as ambassadors. Their role will include disseminating knowledge gained, raising awareness to other universities, and providing feedback on educational initiatives. These ambassadors will provide insight and recommendations on program effectiveness, emerging trends, and opportunities for improvement.
