Tezos hosted a creative coding workshop at Trilitech London to showcase the potential of generative art in the Web3 space and foster innovation and collaboration between artists and developers.





A recent Creative Coding Workshop held at Trilitech London offices highlighted the Tezos ecosystem’s efforts to explore a variety of creative mediums through generative art. Held on November 15th, this offline event brought together artists, developers, and enthusiasts to explore the intersection of coding and artistry.

Where art and algorithms meet

Generative art, a unique combination of creativity and computation, was the focus of the workshop. Ahmad Moussa, educator at fx(hash), introduced participants to this innovative art form, demonstrating how algorithms can unlock endless possibilities for artistic expression. Moussa demonstrated how to use the open source JavaScript library p5.js to create amazing visual art with simple code, making generative art accessible to beginners and experts alike.

Hands-on learning experience

The workshops are designed to be interactive so that attendees can participate directly in the creative process. Through hands-on coding exercises, participants learned how to transform code into dynamic works of art and gained the skills and confidence to explore generative art independently. The event emphasized practical learning, allowing attendees to create their own visual masterpieces.
