The acquisition was announced at Catstanbul, the first Jupiter conference in Istanbul, Turkey. At the time of this article, the financial conditions of the transaction were not disclosed.

“In the first announcement of Catstanbul, I am pleased to share the news that Jupiter Exchange has acquired Moonshot’s stake in MOONSHOT. This team is one of the smartest and strongest groups I have met so far. ” Jupiter’s pseudonym MEOW wrote on X on January 25.

MOONSHOT was ranked No. 1 in the financial app immediately after the launch of Trump Memecoin, and the US Apple App STORE free app category seventh place, which quickly surpassed the market cap of $ 13 billion in just 24 hours.

Jupiter also announced the acquisition of Sonarwatch with the goal of building the best Solana portfolio tracker.

Sonarwatch will focus on building a portfolio tracker (portfolio.jup.ag), and will only be converted to solara coverage as the current platform is phased out.

As part of the integration, the Sonar token is discontinued, the remaining supply is incinerated, and the holder can claim Jupiter’s JUP tokens. Sonarwatch Portfolio API is no longer used after the transition period of January 31st.

The latest development is based on Wednesday, ‘JUPUARY’ Airdrops that Jupiter distributed about 700 million JUP tokens worth $ 616 million.

JUP tokens fell 6% to $ 0.81 after airdrop. Since then, it has risen again and is currently trading more than $ 0.9 per CoinmarketCap.
