The madness continues in Keep’Em slots

Hacksaw Gaming introduced the Canny the Can character to the world in 2019 with their Stick ‘Em slot. Since then they have added three more slots to the series. There’s Drop ‘Em, Stick ‘Em, and Book of Time, which completely and somewhat annoyingly breaks the carefully curated naming convention. It’s like the publisher completely changed the size and cover design of the fourth book in the series, so it looks odd on the bookshelf.

Thankfully, ‘Ems is back in Hacksaw’s latest addition to the Canny the Can series Keep ‘Em slots.

retro styling

Keep’Em slot is a 6-reel slot that offers 15,625 ways to win. One of the most unique methods is the instant win cash symbol that can appear on the reels. If the Instant Win Cash symbol appears on the same spin as the Get’em symbol, the value shown is multiplied by the bet amount and the total awarded. This is confusing. A dollar sign indicates that you will receive that amount as a prize. But in reality it is just a multiplier. This seems unnecessarily confusing.

The Keep’Em bonus is triggered when the Instant Win Cash symbol and/or the Get’em symbol appears on one of the two central reels (reels 3 and 4). When this happens, the trigger symbol locks into place and the remaining reels re-spin three times, giving you the chance to add extra cash or Get’em symbols to the center two reels.

Three FS symbols will trigger the Keep’Em Comin’ free spins round, while four will trigger the Keep Your Friends Close round of free spins. Once triggered, the Keep’Em Comin’ free spins round increases your odds of landing a Get’Em and gives you an instant win cash symbol over 10 base spins.

Keep Your Friends Close Once the free spins round starts, the instant win cash symbol will remain on the reels until collected. If you fill an entire row with uncollected instant win cash symbols, that money will be paid out automatically. Once collected, the cash symbol disappears.

If you don’t want to go through the mad house to get the good stuff, you can also choose to buy one of the two rounds of free spins.

Will Keep ‘Em slot make the Canny the Can series proud?

By betting up to $25 per spin, you can win up to $250,000 when playing the Keep ‘Em slot. Betting starts from $0.10 per spin and the maximum multiplier is 10,000x, so you can expect good returns even if you bet on the lowest level of the slot. The slot features medium volatility, which gives the gameplay a balance between rare big wins and more consistent small wins. Keep’Em slot offers an RTP of 92.27%.

Stick ‘Em did not feature a Canny the Can sidekick. Drop ‘Em, Stick ‘Em and Book of Time all feature a little mouse whose name is definitely a thing for me at the moment. In the Keep ‘Em slot, Hacksaw introduced a new character: Bob the Bird. The mouse was kind of cute, but Bob was a little creepy. Aside from the additions, fans of the series will feel comfortable with the revisited universe in the latest Hacksaw release. And, as has become the standard for Hacksaw games, it’s packed with bonus features to keep you engaged. I give the Keep ‘Em slot a 9 out of 10.

If you’re looking for a few more interesting slots from Hacksaw, you might want to try Eye of the Panda and 2 Wild 2 Die.
