The NYSE will consider cryptocurrency trading if the regulatory situation is clearer, Chairman Lynn Martin said at Consensus 2024.

“The fact that $58 billion has flowed into ETFs is a strong signal that the market is looking for regulation of traditional structures,” Martin said. “So, I hope the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will look at the inflows and say, ‘This makes sense,’ given that Bitcoin ETFs have been incredibly successful.”
