The render network now supports the blender cycle to provide high -performance Distributed GPU rendering. This integration is an important milestone of the open source 3D ecosystem.
Render Network officially started public support for the blender cycle, providing almost unlimited high -performance GPU rendering functions to the open source 3D ecosystem. According to the render network, this presentation comes after six months of beta testing with an experienced artist group.
Integration with blender cycles
Integrating the blender cycle into a render network was first previewed in RenderCon. This development is an important step in executing a render network proposal (RNP-014) that supports millions of blender users by utilizing the vast distributed GPU rendering resources of the network. This initiative emphasizes the promise to democratize 3D content with an open and professional grade tool.
Over the past year, Blender users have access to Render Network without subscription thanks to OTOY’s entire octan license. This allowed millions of blender artists to use the industry’s best GPU path tracking render engine.
Expansion and future development
The blender cycle now joins Maxon’s RedShift and Octanerender in the render network, expanding the range of the available GPU render engine. Support for Arnold Render is expected to enter the beta test soon. In addition, the blender wizard is being developed, and it is easy to support the default .BLEND file, so you can fully access the high -performance GPU cloud rendering directly from the Blender’s interface.
Continuous support for Render Network for Blender Ecosystem includes a company supporter of Blender Development Fund, which supports sustainable development of Blender.
Participation in educational resources and community
To support users, Render Network offers comprehensive documents and 20 -part video tutorial series led by Steven Scott. This resource is designed to optimize the blender workflow on the render network.
Render Network Foundation also started the Render Royale Art competition, which provides a monthly statue of the work created by using a cycle. Large projects can benefit from the Foundation’s subsidy program, which offers computing credits for ambitious creative efforts.
Blender users should try to integrate cycle at https://ender.x.io/. For support and additional information, you can use the render learningge base and Live Chat Support in the render portal.
