According to one publisher’s source, the form was returned with mild comments. Publishers were asked to process the comments and resubmit by July 8.
The source noted that if the form is resubmitted, it will not be a final filing, meaning the ETF will need at least one more filing before it can finally begin trading.

Process towards ETF launch

However, the S-1 is not bound by any specific deadline and the issuer is at the mercy of how quickly the SEC can turn back the S-1.
There were reports that the ETF could launch as early as July 4th, but that is no longer possible. The issuer does not yet know when the ETF will be launched. We will have a clearer picture once the SEC sets a deadline for final filings.
SEC Chairman Gary Gensler previously said that approval of an Ethereum ETF would “He said “sometime this summer,” but did not provide a more specific timeline.
