Thorchain plans to upgrade the minor mainnet with a version 3.6.0, which focuses on the Rujira Contract Checksum update scheduled for May 22, 2025.
Thorchain has released Mainnet upgrades to version 3.6.0, which will occur in 21,210,000 blocks. The upgrade is expected to be held at about 17:00 on UTC on May 22, 2025. According to Thorchain on Medium, this minor update focuses mainly on updating Rujira’s contract check island.
The upgrade does not include important modifications or consensus brakes. Release is part of everyday maintenance to improve the efficiency and security of the network.
Efficacy measures are required
The validation machine must be approved for upgrade proposals using the command line interface (CLI). Steps include:
