US presidential candidate Donald Trump supported cryptocurrency at a special event. for Trump NFT holders late Wednesday at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

The embattled former US president and 2024 hopeful lamented that cryptocurrency companies are leaving the country.

“I never thought cryptocurrency would be an election issue, but today’s statement to the contrary proves that,” he said. “Today, 21 Democrats recognized the trend and voted against their party. Joining the anti-crypto movement is a losing proposition.”
