Trump touts new NFT for chance to win his own mugshot suit

Former President Donald Trump is adding a twist to his latest NFT sales pitch with another set of digital trading cards that will give fans the chance to not only have dinner with him, but also win a piece of the suit he wore for his latest mugshot. has been released.

The new “Mugshot Edition” trading cards cost $99, and anyone who buys 47 in a single transaction ($4,653) will receive a chance to enjoy dinner with Trump and the suit he wore when police took his mug shot. You will receive all of the actual trading cards included. in Georgia after being indicted last August.

Previous Trump NFT drops have included bonuses like Zoom calls and the chance to dine with the president at a gala dinner. According to a website promoting NFT drops and bonus items, Trump is calling the suit he wore “one of the most historically significant artifacts in American history.”

Consumers who purchase 100 trading cards at once using cryptocurrency will receive additional bonuses, including the opportunity to attend a “pre-gala” cocktail reception with the former president. In addition to a physical card featuring the suit, those who purchase more than 100 cards will also receive another physical card featuring the tie the officer wore when taking his photo.

Volume has surged but is still weak

Trading volume for Trump’s first digital trading card collection, released in December 2022, has surged more than 200% in the past 24 hours with the announcement of the ‘Mugshot Edition’. According to OpenSea data, the increase over a 24-hour period was notable, but total volume was recorded at less than $100,000.

According to the Trump site, there are 2,024 limited edition physical trading cards that come with the suit. The offering is being operated by NFT INT LLC, which is “not owned, managed or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Digital LLC, or any of their respective entities or affiliates,” according to the website.

“NFT INT LLC uses the name, likeness and image of Donald J. Trump pursuant to a paid license from CIC Digital LLC, which license is subject to termination or cancellation in accordance with its terms,” the website added.

Trump was previously listed as the manager, president, secretary and treasurer of CIC Digital LLC, according to public filings posted by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. Last August, the documents revealed that the former president owns up to $5 million worth of ether and earned at least $4.9 million in NFT licensing fees.
