Comprehensive analysis of blockchain elasticity for alternative control explores the limitations of safety and lyability in various clients and network models.

In the evolving environment of blockchain technology, the elasticity of the blockchain system for alternative control remains an important concern. The recent exploration of the A16Z Crypto maintains the core characteristics of active and security while exploring critical questions about the number of malicious validity tests that can withstand the blockchain. This study examines whether the threshold value is 50%, 33%, or 99%, as suggested by Vitalik Buterin, Ether Leeum co -founder.

Blockchain elasticity search

This study emphasizes the importance of modeling blockchain clients, and examines dimensions such as whether the client and the verifier are always active or sometimes dormant and the characteristics of network motives. Conducted in jointly with Dionysis Zindros and David TSE, this study systematically classifies consensus models at this level to describe the achievable safety and vibrant resilience.

Status battalion cloning and consensus protocol

The State-Machine Replication (SMR) agreement protocol is essential for the blockchain function, and the transaction is executed in a consistent order throughout the network. Such protocols must be Byzantine-deletion resistance (BFT), and even if a part of the validator acts maliciously, it must maintain security. This study investigates the maximum hostile fractions that can be allowed to explore all classic motivations and partially synchronized networks.

Decision to control the allowable validation test machine

This study questions the upper limit of safety and vivid elasticity that all blockchain protocols can achieve. It emphasizes that the ability of the network that delivers messages during the validity test affects these limitations. In the synchronous network, the network delay can be partially compared to the synchronous network that can interfere with communication.

Client modeling and network motivation

Client characteristics, such as communication skills and activity levels, greatly affect the elasticity threshold. This study proposes a BFT SMR consensus model based on these clients and network characteristics, providing a comprehensive analysis of the elasticity that can be achieved in various scenarios.

For more information on the results, including detailed models and theoretical evidence, you can use the full paper in the IACR EPRINT archive. This study not only integrates existing knowledge, but also contributes to understanding blockchain security by introducing new protocols and impossible theories.
