The UXLINK project, as reported by blog.bitfinex.com, is an innovative initiative designed to enhance social interaction within the Web3 space. The core of UXLINK is to combine real-world social connections with the decentralized spirit of blockchain to create a platform where users can interact, transact, and form communities in a secure and transparent manner.
Evolving Social Interactions on Web3
UXLINK introduces a dual token economic model and a suite of decentralized applications (DApps) to provide a seamless user experience while maintaining the principles of user sovereignty and data ownership. One of UXLINK’s distinguishing features is its focus on creating two-way, real-time social interactions, as opposed to traditional one-way social media models. Users can create groups, explore and trade with friends, and manage their network using tools such as the MPC-AA Wallet and Soulbound Tokens (SBT), creating a Web3 identity and social graph. This gives users complete control over their data and interactions, creating a more trustworthy and engaging environment.
Security and Transparency
The UXLINK ecosystem is built on security and transparency. The platform has undergone rigorous audits by Peckshield to ensure the integrity and safety of smart contracts. UXLINK also provides various DApps such as UX Wallet, UX SBT, and AI-based GroupKits to help users easily manage their network and interactions. In particular, AI GroupKits further enhances the user experience by helping users efficiently handle groups and followers.
Future outlook
In the future, UXLINK plans to expand its capabilities through open availability of SDK and API interfaces to encourage large-scale application development. UXLINK aims to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 by positioning groups as operational units within the Web3 framework, becoming a central hub for social and virtual interactions. This innovative approach is expected to accelerate the mass adoption of blockchain technology, providing users and developers a powerful platform to build and manage social networks in a decentralized world.
UXLINK Token
The UXLINK token is a core component of the UXLINK ecosystem, providing both utility and governance functions within this innovative Web3 social platform. The tokens are divided into two types, UXUY and UXLINK, each of which plays a specific role in enhancing user engagement and ensuring the smooth operation of the platform. The UXUY token is primarily designed for utility within the ecosystem, rewarding users for their participation and contributions. The UXLINK token, on the other hand, is a governance token that provides holders with decision-making power and access to the benefits derived from the growth and success of the platform.
UXUY, the utility token of UXLINK, is earned through a transparent proof of link (POL) mechanism. Users can accumulate UXUY tokens by inviting others to the network or actively participating in the ecosystem. This token incentivizes users to expand the network and contribute to its vitality. UXUY tokens can be used to pay for various services within the platform, including transaction fees, social interactions, and other activities within the platform. UXUY also has a burn mechanism to maintain its value and scarcity, ensuring that the token supply remains controlled and deflationary over time.
On the other hand, the UXLINK token functions as a governance token for the ecosystem. UXLINK token holders gain voting rights on important platform decisions such as protocol upgrades, fee structures, and community proposals. This governance model ensures that the platform is decentralized and user-centric, and that decisions reflect the collective will of the community. The distribution of UXLINK tokens is carefully planned and allocated to community members, developers, partners, and project teams to promote a balanced and sustainable ecosystem.
UXLINK Token Economics
UXLINK will supply a total of 1,000,000,000 tokens, which will be allocated in a way designed to encourage community participation and ensure the sustainability of the project. The largest portion, 65%, will be dedicated to the community, including users who hold UXLINK utility tokens and those who contribute to the UXLINK project and ecosystem. Of this community share, approximately 40% will be reserved specifically for users, and the remaining 25% will be allocated to builders and partners.
In addition to the community allocation, 21.25% of the tokens are reserved for project partners through a private sale. The team, including co-founders and contract staff, will receive 8.75% of the total supply. Finally, 5% of the tokens are set aside for liquidity and project management purposes to ensure smooth operation and continued development of the platform.
