Uniswap (UNI) Labs has announced an exciting collaboration with Brooklyn-based designer KidSuper, known for his avant-garde approach to fashion and art. The partnership will see the launch of a unique collection featuring items inspired by Uniswap’s signature themes, including unicorns, math doodles, and physical wallets. According to a recent blog post from the Uniswap Protocol, the limited edition items will be available on shop.uniswap.org starting August 5th at 11am ET.
About the collection
The Uniswap X KidSuper collection is a celebration of creativity and community, combining elements of crypto culture with KidSuper’s unique artistic style. The collection includes a variety of apparel items, including a shirt celebrating the legend of the unicorn and the equation x * y = k, a vibrant pink hat, and a real wallet inspired by the Uniswap Wallet. There will also be on-chain collectibles that can be mined on Zora for a limited time.
Shared vision and values
Uniswap Labs has a history of pioneering new concepts in decentralized finance, from introducing the automated market maker (AMM) model to creating the world’s first dynamically priced socks. KidSuper shares a similar spirit of constantly challenging the status quo in fashion, art, and entertainment. This collaboration aims to unite these worlds and celebrate the convergence of crypto, culture, and community through digital and physical drops throughout the summer and fall of 2024.
Upcoming Activation
The partnership between Uniswap and KidSuper will extend beyond the initial collection. In the coming months, more activities will be launched to bring the communities of both brands closer together. These initiatives aim to integrate cryptocurrency into the broader cultural and fashion landscape, further solidifying Uniswap’s position at the intersection of technology and creativity.
How to participate
Fans and followers can follow Uniswap on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram for the latest updates and activations. The countdown to the collection launch can be tracked at shop.uniswap.org. The items will also be sold on KidSuper’s official website, with KidSuper being the official seller of all items.
