The boos from the 60,000 Ohio State University graduates and their guests grew louder, and graduate and commencement speaker Chris Pan explained: “I see Bitcoin as a very misunderstood asset class.”

Throughout history, Ohio State University’s commencement speeches have been given by celebrities including former President Barack Obama, former U.S. Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci, and astronaut Neil Armstrong.

Receiving this year’s honor was Pan, a 1999 OSU graduate who went on to become a social entrepreneur, musician and inspirational speaker.

“It’s decentralized and finite, which means governments can’t print more at will,” he told a stadium full of graduates about BTC. “Initially, Bitcoin exchanges were vulnerable to hacking and fraud. However, the recent launch of the Bitcoin ETF has solved this problem.”

Moans and groans spread among the 60,000 people in attendance as Pan continued to pour in bitcoins. “This is embarrassing.” You can hear a student speaking through the video.

The crowd’s reaction to the pro-Bitcoin remarks at OSU’s graduation ceremony is telling. Bitcoin is a brand. And for this audience, it may be annoying or distressing.pic.twitter.com/HinpbdMEup

Neither Pan nor Ohio State University immediately responded. decryptionThis is a request for your opinion.

A week before the speech, the founder of a positive affirmation jewelry business called MyIntent took to Linkedin to explain that he “had some help from Ayahuasca Intelligence (AI)” in writing his speech. People later took to Pan’s Linkedin post to chastise him for using the speech as a “Bitcoin and bracelet advertisement.”

But the psychedelic writing session didn’t lead to inspirational messages about self and spirituality, but rather lectures on inflation and digital currencies for “alpha males.” Fortunately (or unfortunately), the drug seemed to work when Pan walked past the lectern and performed a Michael Scott-style karaoke rendition of “What’s Up?” This is a work by 4 Non Blondes. He later also sang Harry Dixon Loes’ classic “This Little Light of Mine.”

It’s funny that while everyone is worried about the person who fell to his death at OSU Stadium, the commencement speaker is here doing this. pic.twitter.com/z22vuP6TZY

“I didn’t go to the speech,” Fan said on her Instagram Story after the event. “I went and stopped funding wars to share the truth. “The bloodshed must stop,” he said.

He believed he was changing the world with his Bitcoin speech, but some attendees said this “Worst graduation speech ever.”

According to a local Ohio newsletter: Cock, Pan had a bigger vision, including a “shirtless dance number” that the university requested be removed. And according to other sources CockPan was “very angry” and “the worst person” a source had ever worked with ahead of the ill-fated commencement speech.

Here are some hard facts about OSU graduation ceremonies. While the speech was taking place, one person fell from the stands at the stadium and died. part believed It was unpleasant for the ceremony to continue despite this shocking news. Especially since there was no acknowledgment of the dire circumstances.
