ETFs or other cryptocurrency-related products – we have long held the view that the high volatility of cryptocurrencies runs counter to our goal of helping investors generate positive real returns over the long term,” the spokesperson said.

This was in contrast to other brokerage firms such as Charles Schwab and Fidelity, which allowed users with brokerage accounts to purchase spot Bitcoin ETFs.
