Vechain has partnered with 4OCEAN to take advantage of blockchain technology to fight marine plastic pollution in 2025 to remove 300,000 pounds of debris.
Vechain, the leader of blockchain driving enterprise solutions, has solved the problem of solving the marine plastic pollution problem by presenting a strategic partnership with 4OCEAN, a global marine purification company. According to VECHAIN officials, this collaboration aims to use blockchain technology to increase transparency and encourage cleanup efforts.
Initiative to fight plastic pollution
This partnership began with the famous beach cleaning event of Miami, supported by UFC Foundation. This event served as a platform that shows the function of the Cleanify Decentralized Application (DAPP) run by Vebetter Ecosystem. This initiative aims to remove 14.4 million single plastic water bottles in the first year.
Throughout 2025, partnerships plan to remove £ 300,000 plastic and garbage from the sea, rivers and coastline. In addition, 11 months of sustainable prizes will provide a variety of awards, and exclusive products will be developed to support additional cleaning efforts.
The role of blockchain in sustainability
Blockchain technology will play an important role by providing an immutable purification activity record known as ‘sustainability proof’ in this initiative. This record tracks and confirms plastic and other debris vowels to ensure transparency and prevent green washing. Participants receive incentives with $ B3TR tokens and compensate for contributions to the cause.
SUNNY LU, CEO and founder of Vechain, emphasized the synergy effect between the two tissues. “By combining 4OCEAN’s inspiration and VECHAIN’s blockchain function in Ocean Conservation, people are creating new ways to participate in the world’s most important environmental cleaning efforts and influence.”
Vebetter ecosystem expansion
Partnership with 4ocean matches the mission of the Vebetter Ecosystem, which allows individuals to induce change through sustainable activities. The ecosystem uses a new “X-2-URN” model, where ‘X’ represents a variety of sustainable behavior. Vebetter introduces these activities to encourage the actual impact and encourage long -term behavioral changes.
4ocean CEO and co -founder Alex Schulze emphasized the importance of purpose -centered behavior. “In a partnership with Vechain, we remove £ 300,000 plastics from the sea of 14.4 million plastic bottles.”
The cooperation between Vechain and 4OCEAN shows important development in the fight against marine plastic pollution, which uses cutting -edge technology to create a sustainable and transparent solution.
