The Dune partnership is intended to provide additional tools and information to World Chain users, Worldcoin said in a statement. “Dune will give the Worldcoin community access to on-chain data by providing detailed analysis or insights,” the project said in a statement.
Additionally, the partnership is intended to provide developers and users with: “The ability to explore key metrics such as the number of real-world humans interacting with the chain, the performance of DeFi protocols or DEXs built on World Chain, and other relevant on-chain metrics,” Worldcoin said.
Announced in April, World Chain is secured by Ethereum within the Superchain network of layer 2 chains built using the OP stack. Scalability was one of the key drivers behind Worldcoin’s decision to migrate to its own chain, with the project estimating that World Chain will be able to handle roughly twice the amount of workload that the OP mainnet can handle.
Migration settings
According to the project, once the World Chain mainnet goes live, it will enable the migration of Worldcoin’s more than 10 million World App users from their existing base on the OP mainnet. Originally, the mainnet was scheduled to be launched this summer.
The Worldcoin project, championed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s company Tools for Humanity, seeks to affirm people’s “humanity” or “personhood” while also protecting their “privacy” as the digital world becomes increasingly populated with actors powered by artificial intelligence. It’s focused. Worldcoin has assigned nearly 7 million World IDs to users who prove they are human by scanning their eyeballs.
“Dune’s powerful analytics tools provide users and developers with accessible on-chain data so they can make informed decisions and drive innovation on the World Chain,” Remco Bloemen, head of blockchain at the Worldcoin Foundation, said in a statement. Support.
