Dominic Frisby recalls meeting MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor for the first time at a cryptocurrency event. What started out as awe-inspiring took an unexpected turn and became confusing.
“I saw Michael Saylor there. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s him!’” he told the magazine. But it was Saylor who came quickly and introduced himself before Frisby had the chance.
“He just came to me and said: ‘I’ve watched a few of your videos and I really like your work and what you’re doing. Would you like to come over for dinner?’”
Frisby explains that he was very excited to play with the OG Bitcoin Maxi at Saylor’s house. This house is “much nicer” than his own.
“Every time I watch a video of Michael Saylor, I feel an orange pill. “That guy is really smart,” he declared.
Saylor is a mutual admiration community who frequently shares Frisby’s TV appearances discussing Bitcoin.
Frisby isn’t just a Bitcoin user; he’s a respected comedian who has his hands in many different pies, including telling jokes on stage, writing books, and hosting TV shows.
He has 32,300 Twitter followers. That’s just behind Saylor’s whopping 3.1 million. He is still making a name for himself and can often be heard talking about Bitcoin on radio stations like BBC 5.
Oh, and have you ever heard of the hit British show? Money fit? Well, Frisby was the face of it. He admitted to having a knack for juggling multiple balls at once.
“I’m talented in everything, so I tend to go for whatever interests me at any given moment.”
Frisby can also boast of having written one of the first authoritative books on Bitcoin. Bitcoin: The Future of MoneyPublished by Unbound in 2014.
“I think this is the first book on Bitcoin from a reputable publisher,” he asserts.
Despite his respect for Saylor, he believes the next generation needs a Bitcoin champion.
“I think Roger Ver is a great evangelist for Bitcoin. Saylor has been a great evangelist for Bitcoin. But when the next bull market happens, we’ll need new evangelists. “You have to find new narratives to push the story forward.”
And despite being a self-proclaimed Bitcoin maximalist, he admits that he has a small bag of Ethereum stashed away, even if it’s more of an investment in Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin than the actual network itself.
“My portfolio is probably over 90% Bitcoin, with some Ethereum as well. That guy (Vitalik) Buterin must be really smart. And I believe that by investing in Ethereum, I am effectively investing in Vitalik.”
Why did Twitter get its fame?
Frisby admits that his Twitter is a bit like hopscotch.
He acknowledges that things can get better if you just focus on talking about one topic.
“If I were to tweet about crypto all day, I would probably have a lot more followers than I do.”
Frisby’s following has soared in 2021 as he and others go to famous landmarks in England to send messages.
“I was involved in purchasing the projector. And we went around projecting slogans on public buildings,” he explains.
Frisby decided to project the message to the Bank of England: “Bitcoin solves this problem.”
What type of content can people expect?
Frisby’s tweets are everywhere. One day it’s Bitcoin, the next day it’s CBDC, and they’re throwing in some comedy or releasing a new music video.
His latest project is a parody song and music video about central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
Frisbee played the role of Klaus Schwab, chairman of the World Economic Forum, in a piece titled ‘Programmable Money’. He calls out “CBDC” and says, “These things monitor every purchase, every transaction or decision you make.”
“It cost thousands of pounds and we had to ask a lot of favors. Yes, you can tell it’s an expensive video.”
It seems to be paying off, with praise from renowned economist Lyn Alden and popular Bitcoin podcaster Peter McCormack.

What content do you enjoy?
Frisby is a Bitcoin maxi for all the “wrong reasons.”
“I don’t have time to study all the different coins, I participate in various WhatsApp groups and Telegram chats and I can’t keep up with this new coin and that new coin. “I have no time or energy.”
He featured some of his favorite commentators, including Lyn Alden, Peter McCormack, GiGi, Bitcoin entrepreneur Robert Breedlove, and Blockstream CEO Adam Back.
prediction?
Come to think of it, Frisby has thrown prediction balls before.
“Do you want to make a silly headline prediction that will get a ton of clicks because I said Bitcoin will hit $500,000, or do you want to make a realistic prediction that people will be there in three years? , ‘That prediction was right!’”
Obviously we want predictions that get a lot of clicks, but we’ll take what we can get.
Frisby’s predictions look quite reasonable for the upcoming cycle, suggesting average prices could reach between $70,000 and $100,000.
However, during this cycle it can soar to as high as $250,000. Maybe we should put that in the headline?
