Georgetown, Grand Cayman, August 5, 2024, Chainwire
Zircuit, a fully EVM compatible ZK rollup with AI-assisted sequencer level security, today announced that Mainnet Phase 1 is now live. Mainnet Phase 1 also includes the launch of the Zircuit Mainnet Festival, the first program that provides the opportunity to win ZRC and big prizes proportional to the gas consumed on the Zircuit network.
In order to reward users who participated in the highly successful staking program by staking over $2 billion, Zircuit has also launched the Season 1 Airdrop Claim. Users who staked assets in the Season 1 Points Campaign can now claim their tokens.
During Mainnet Phase 1, users will be able to connect funds to Zircuit’s Mainnet and interact with projects in the Zircuit ecosystem, including Ambient Finance, DODO, Circuit, Zerolend, Ethena, Lynx, InstaDapp, LogX, Shoebill, and more. Developers will also be able to deploy applications on the Zircuit Mainnet and join a thriving ecosystem of over 60 projects.
As part of the launch, Zircuit will host the Zircuit Mainnet Festival, rewarding users with ZRC tokens every time they pay gas fees on the Zircuit Mainnet. Additionally, participating users will have the opportunity to win prizes and a whopping 100,000 ZRC. The festival encourages users to interact with the network and experience the benefits of Zircuit while earning ZRC tokens and prizes.
In Mainnet Phase 1, there will be a limit to the amount each wallet can bridge, and the limit will increase over time. In this initial phase, users will only be able to bridge ETH, with other assets being added gradually. This will allow Zircuit to launch in the safest way possible, while also allowing for a wider distribution of Zircuit rewards to smaller wallets.
At this stage, Zircuit will open the ZRC token claim portal to reward users who contributed and participated early on in the network. Users who earned Zircuit Points in Season 1 of Zircuit Staking are eligible. Tokens can be claimed during this period, but cannot be transferred later. In preparation for the asset migration in Phase 2, where staked assets will be transferred from the Ethereum mainnet to the Zircuit mainnet, Zircuit will begin collecting wallet addresses for users who wish to move their staked assets once the network is fully activated.
“Launching the first phase of our mainnet is a major milestone for us. Developers and users can now experience all the benefits of Zircuit and its groundbreaking Sequencer-level security. Additionally, the mainnet festival is the first mechanism to directly reward early active users. We see Zircuit as the foundation for the next revolution in web3, and we look forward to seeing what decentralized applications will be built on Zircuit next.” Zircuit co-founder Martin Derka said:
Zircuit protects users from hacking with built-in automated AI technology that protects users from smart contract exploits and malicious actors. Zircuit, fortified with a robust security infrastructure, is the central hub for re-staking assets featuring unparalleled security, allowing users to earn industry-leading yields out of the box. Zircuit is the premier liquidity hub for re-staking assets (ETH, BTC, LST and LRT) where users can enjoy stronger security guarantees and trust.
