Injective announced that it has achieved cross-chain name service with Solana. This promotes interoperability with the first OmniChain domain release for both parties. This eliminates the need for domain changes while interacting with other ecosystems. This provides users with an improved experience. Simply put, users now only need to use a single domain name to transact across the Solana and Injective ecosystems.

This can be better explained by mentioning that users will have the ability to have .sol domains by leveraging INJ.

This further paves the way for the integration of Phantom. This will bring Solana and Injective closer together, allowing a connection to Solana. You can start your Omnichain domain experience with Injective by first connecting your wallet to the platform. Needless to say, having a digital wallet is essential.

Go to the search bar and find the domain you want. click It is registered Continue with the process. Payments are processed with a native token called INJ. Injective emphasized that this process may take several minutes. Once the domain is created, users can find it in their wallet address in the top right corner.

OmniChain domain releases have been defined as follows: Major technological innovations, the user experience has been significantly improved. It also brings Solana and Injective closer together as more developers find it attractive to challenge the two fastest chains in the cryptocurrency world.

No matter how attractive the announcement sounds, the bullish signal has not yet been reflected in the native token.

INJ is down 1.69% over the last 24 hours, while SOL is down 4.54% over the same period. They are trading for $34.61 and $111.67 respectively at the time of writing this piece.

In terms of technology, we are making more diverse developments. now unprecedented innovation In the blockchain space, Solana and Injective initially started planning to achieve the same goal a year ago. It was late last year that the process was stress tested and monitored on testnet.

Technical complexity has now been alleviated for users who can seamlessly move to other ecosystems without taking extra steps. In the future, Solana and Injective plan to further integrate the ecosystem to improve the developer experience. This is expected to be achieved through the release of inSVM, the first Solana-focused rollup.

That said, users who want to create an .inj name service can go to Injective’s official website and explore the following paths: Interlink On the page. Select your preferred wallet, click Search, enter your domain name to check availability and proceed with the self-explanatory process.
