The Republican presidential candidate changed his tune this year and embraced the crypto community while running for reelection. Last week, Trump’s two sons hinted at an announcement related to the world of cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance (DeFi). Soon after, Donald Trump Jr. clarified that the hint had nothing to do with Mimecoin.
“There are a lot of people doing great things. I love Mimecoin and the culture. I love what they do with my friends. It’s really great,” Don Jr. said.. “But I have to make sure people understand that you can’t confuse one thing with the other.”
Trump, who had been silent for years in the lead-up to the Musk interview, began using his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday.
