Animoca Brands, a leading player advancing digital property rights for games and the open metaverse, has announced the launch of its first GEN3 Playground event. Scheduled for 2 November 2024, the event will be held at the K11 Musea Arts and Culture Center in Hong Kong and marks a significant milestone as Hong Kong’s first consumer-focused Web3 event.

GEN3 Playground is designed to provide an immersive experience for attendees to explore the realms of Web3, gaming and digital property. This event features hands-on games, exhibits, contests and more, along with insightful talks from Animoca Brands thought leaders. According to Animoca Brands, the event highlights the company’s commitment to its roots in Hong Kong while highlighting Hong Kong’s burgeoning influence in the global Web3 landscape.
Interactive Experiences and Keynotes
GEN3 Playground promises a carnival-like atmosphere with quests, games, and the chance to win exclusive rewards. Interactive booths allow visitors to try out games, while the main stage hosts thrilling gaming contests. Keynote addresses from Animoca Brands executives will further enrich the experience by providing insight into the potential of Web3 and true digital ownership.
Introduction to prominent projects
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore some of Animoca Brands’ key projects such as Anichess, Cosmic Bomber, Mocaverse, Motorverse, The Sandbox, and the TOWER ecosystem. The event will also provide a comprehensive look at the innovations driving the Web3 space through activations from partners such as OSL, Anime Foundation, Apeiron, and Bad Egg Co.
