NVIDIA has announced a major upgrade to its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, rebranding its Priority membership to Performance. According to NVIDIA’s official blog, this enhancement provides users with improved streaming quality at no additional cost.
Key Features of Performance Membership
The newly named Performance membership allows gamers to stream at up to 1440p resolution, an upgrade from the previous 1080p, and supports ultrawide resolutions. Users can also save in-game graphics settings across sessions, including NVIDIA RTX features for compatible games. Current priority members will automatically be moved to a performance level and can begin enjoying these benefits immediately.
Best membership and day pass benefits
The Ultimate membership continues to deliver the highest quality streaming, connecting users to GeForce RTX 4080-based gaming rigs at up to 4K resolution and 120fps. For those who can’t decide whether to choose between a Performance membership and an Ultimate membership, NVIDIA is currently offering a 25% off Day Pass that gives you access to cloud gaming for 24 hours.
Playtime and membership benefits
Starting next year, GeForce NOW will introduce up to 15 hours of playtime per month for Performance and Ultimate members. Additional minutes can be purchased for $2.99 for Performance or $5.99 for Ultimate. NVIDIA is also offering active members unlimited playtime throughout 2025 if they keep their membership in good standing.
Add new games
This week, seven new games were added to the GeForce NOW library, including the following titles: Planet Coaster 2 and empire of ants. These additions expand the library to over 2,000 games, featuring NVIDIA RTX features and improved graphics like ray tracing and DLSS.
For a limited time, gamers can explore new features and gaming offerings with a discounted Day Pass, a great opportunity to experience NVIDIA’s upgraded cloud gaming service.
