GeForce now introduces the default app for Valve’s Steam Deck, improving the battery life expanded cloud game with RTX driving visuals and six new game releases.

GeForce has now unveiled the first basic app of Valve’s Steam Deck, showing significant progress in portable game technology. According to GeForce Now Community, gamers can experience high -quality GeForce RTX drive gameplay in handheld devices.

Improved game on the go

The basic app announced early at the CES exhibition in January aims to make the most of the potential of Steam Deck by providing a smooth cloud game function. The app supports up to 4K resolution streaming with 60 frames, HDR10 and NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 and REFLEX TECHNOLOGIES, providing visual and performance upgrades beyond the default steam deck function. The app also promises up to 50%battery life when streaming from the cloud’s RTX game equipment.

This update means that Steam Deck users can enjoy graphic -intensive AAA titles in maximum settings without concerns about hardware restrictions or battery life. Some of the highlighted titles include ‘Clair Alfur: Expedition 33’, ‘Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered’ and ‘MONSTER HUNTER WILDS’.

Game library expansion

The default app enlarges access to more than 2,200 support games in GeForce Now. Users now stream the title in Steam, EPIC Games Store, Ubisoft, Battle.net and Xbox Library, including more than 180 support PC game pass titles. This integration provides Steam Deck users with the advantages of the RTX 4080 GPU, improved visuals and handheld devices that can not be played before.

With the launch of the app, NVIDIA celebrates two prizes, including Steam Deck OLED and Dock, Free GeForce Now Ultimate members. Participants can follow the social media channels of GeForce Now and join using #gfnonsteamdeck.

New game release

This week, six new games will be released in cloud streaming. Among them is the Tokyo Xtreme Racer, which immerses players in the street racing in Japan. The game has a neon lighting atmosphere for open load duel, deep car customization and unique racing experience.

Other titles that can be used for streaming include ‘Good Day for Fishing’, ‘Cash Cleaner Simulator’, ‘Last Order’, ‘Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon’ and ‘Torque Drift 2’. This additional features further enhance the game options available to GeForce Now.

For those who are interested in exploring this new Gaming Avenue, the default app can be downloaded from the GeForce Now page, and the support site is provided with a setting guideline.
