UAE provides a gateway to innovative, high-growth developers, institutions and investors

Aptos Foundation, a global blockchain leader committed to supporting the development of the Aptos ecosystem and Web3 globally, is proud to announce that it will open a new office in ADGM, a leading international financial center in Abu Dhabi. This strategic expansion is an important milestone in the Aptos Foundation’s mission to build a strong global blockchain ecosystem.

The Abu Dhabi office will serve as a hub for Aptos Foundation activities in the region, focusing on fostering partnerships and supporting projects designed to grow the Aptos ecosystem.

The decision to establish a presence in Abu Dhabi reflects the UAE’s position as one of the most progressive markets globally when it comes to blockchain and Web3 adoption. The UAE has been creating an environment that attracts visionary institutions and builders, supported by government policies that actively encourage Web3 initiatives. By establishing operations at ADGM, the Aptos Foundation will work directly with these forward-thinking builders and institutions, creating new opportunities to collaborate and expand the Aptos ecosystem.

“The UAE is heavily dependent on Web3, which makes the region, and Abu Dhabi in particular, the clear leader in the global blockchain space,” said Bashar Lazaar, Head of Growth and Ecosystem at Aptos Foundation. “We want to be at the forefront of this movement and help it grow as quickly as possible. “This opening provides a unique opportunity for our team to learn from and connect in the field with cutting-edge construction companies, institutions and investors who are pushing the envelope every day.”

“We are excited to have the Aptos Foundation join ADGM,” said Arvind Ramamurthy, Chief Market Development Officer at ADGM. “Their decision to establish their first overseas office here highlights the UAE’s leadership in fostering innovation and advancing blockchain technology. ADGM’s ecosystem is designed to support cutting-edge companies like the Aptos Foundation, who collaborate with visionary developers, institutions, and investors to shape the future of Web3. We look forward to the contribution they will make to our vibrant community and the wider region.”

This expansion is a continuation of Aptos Foundation’s commitment to partner with local stakeholders and play an active role in accelerating blockchain adoption across the region.
