Have you seen Apple’s controversial “Crush” commercial? It was for the new ultra-thin iPad and played in a viral hydraulic press video that went viral in 2015 and 2016. Now I’m deducing a connection between the ad and Gaming Corps’ new game Gems Rampage, which is probably a bit hard to believe. However, the game is played in the same viral video.

Gems Rampage is very simple. Set your bet amount and click play. A large stone head will attempt to break the rock beneath it, and if it succeeds, you’ll get everything found inside. However, there is some complexity in the details.

The amount found in each rock is determined by the elements contained in the rock. The bet multiplier for regular rocks is up to 5x. At the other end of the spectrum, multi-colored rainbow rocks offer bet multipliers of up to 100x.
Then there is the Rampage feature. After destroying the ball, the Rampage or Multi-Rampage bonus features may randomly trigger. Gems Rampage’s format is a breath of fresh air. The problem is that this time it is a copy, not an original. The game is basically a skin for Piggy Smash, which Gaming Crops released in January. That said, I think Gems Rampage is a more compelling theme in this format. This leaves me at a bit of a loss as to how to score.
