Pfnbx claims to provide cryptocurrency mining and trading capabilities, but is actually a fraudulent DApp designed to steal cryptocurrency.
Connecting to your DApp gives you unlimited access to all tokens contained in your cryptocurrency wallet. This means that fraudsters can siphon off those tokens into wallets they control.
Victims of this scam are often introduced to the DApp by someone they met online and possibly formed a relationship they thought was romantic.
After a while, the conversation turns to cryptocurrency investing and the victim is guided through the process of setting up a cryptocurrency wallet (if they don’t already have one), depositing cash, and connecting to the DApp.
It may seem like you are making a profit trading at first, but you will soon see your funds disappearing.
How to Spot a Pfnbx Scam
It can be difficult to distinguish between scam apps and real apps, especially if you are not familiar with cryptocurrency.
However, there are a few things that indicate that Pfnbx is a scam. These include:
- The claim is that although this cryptocurrency is not actually created by mining, you can still profit by mining USDT.
- It’s a brand new domain name.
- There is no information or contact information about the developer.
- There are no official social media profiles or other channels.
- It promises big profits in a short period of time.
- There are numerous reports from people saying that this DApp is a scam.
- The fake fees for leveling up are all designed to get more money out of victims.
- Domain Authority (DA) of 1 – lowest possible.
Can I get my money back from Pfnbx scammers?
Tracking down cryptocurrency scammers can be very difficult, but you should report what happened to the exchange and the police.
