A series of industry influencers and celebrities had their X accounts hacked over the weekend, leaking everything from Luna2 and ORDI to celebrity-inspired memecoins.
Among its latest victims is Gigantic-Cassocked-Rebirth, known as GCR. He is a pseudonymous cryptocurrency investor known to profit from reverse trading and has confirmed that his X account has been hacked.
On May 26, GCR’s
Many said the hackers could have minted microcap coins using the account, but instead decided to publish two tokens, which limited their profits.
“The GCR hackers rummaged through the bag hard,” said cryptocurrency analyst Miles Deutscher.
“Bro could have chosen a reliable micro cap that could pump 10-20x, but he chose ORDI and LUNA2 with only 10% wick.”
ORDI (ORDI) has less upside than small-cap coins, as it has already amassed a market capitalization of $856 million.
But the GCR hack could be part of a wider attack on Celebrity X’s account, the community warns.
Bitcoin developer and Ordinals critic Udi Wertheimer said, “GCR told us today that hacking of large-scale Twitter accounts is already underway.”
“The moment you launch a meme coin on a long weekend while the platform engineers are away, more niche celebrities will appear, so be very careful.”

According to DEX Screener data, it raised $90,000 in market capitalization within the first two hours of launch.
There is no confirmation yet as to whether Rich the Kid’s X account was hacked, but the post has been deleted.
Deepfake or Caitlyn Jenner?
Around the same time, a new memecoin, “JENNER,” was promoted on American journalist Caitlyn Jenner’s X account. The account has already amassed a market capitalization of $4.7 million since launching about four hours ago, according to DEX Screener.
Many industry experts believe the posts were the result of hackers. But it’s even more compelling because it spans two social media platforms and also includes several videos showing Jenner verifying the cryptocurrency tokens and posts are real.
