According to a recent survey by blockchain detective ZachXBT, presales for 27 Solana-based projects raised more than $122 million last week.
According to ZachXBT, since March 12, more than 655,000 SOLs worth approximately $122.5 million have been raised for various presales.
An on-chain analyst says:
“I looked into how many SOLs were sent as a result of the presale meta and calculated >655,000 SOL ($122.5 million) raised in 27 presales…
To break this down further for those who don’t follow cryptocurrency, these presales have all been happening since March 12th.
This figure only counts Solana presales and excludes presales occurring on other chains (Ethereum, BSC, Base, etc.).”
One of the projects, SLERF, lost $10 million worth of pre-sale tokens reserved for the airdrop after its market capitalization soared to $620 million within hours of launch.
Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko saw ZachXBT’s post on social media platform
Called Yakovenko,
“Stop doing this.”
Previously, ZachXBT also warned This is the case of another person who reportedly walked away with six figures worth of SOL after a pre-sale increase.
Solana has seen an explosion of activity in recent weeks with a series of memecoin launches and rallies. The Solana-based decentralized exchange (DEX) has recorded record trading volume.
As of this writing, Solana is trading at $181.
